TRACING TEXTURES
Tracing Textures is a reflection on the transitions between different materials and mediums. Particularly how textures evolve throughout these in between shifts. It explores this concept by transforming a candle holder form, starting with clay, then scanning it into a digital environment, converting it into PLA filament via 3D printing, and finally casting it into aluminum.
This workflow allows to closely examine how textures change across material transitions and compare each stage to the previous one.
